After 20+ years of living in big, bustling, crowded, noisy New York City, in 2010 I spent a month in the tiny town of Marfa, Texas.

The population of the whole town could probably fit into the 4 apartment buildings on my corner.

Marfa had been on my “list” for years – my interest piqued by articles like the recent piece in The New York Times on a “Thelma and Louise”-style visit, as well as my love of Donald Judd’s art.

And after over ten years of helping other people create more time and space in their lives*, I felt I needed to do the same for myself.

Read on to join me on the adventure – sort of my own personal Green Acres.
